Over three weekends, Day Skipper students apply their learning from theory courses such as Essential Navigation & Seamanship and RYA Day Skipper theory to the practical elements needed to skipper a sailing yacht in sheltered waters during daylight hours.
Berthing, crew management, victualing, person recovery, chart plotting, knots, helming, sail trimming and much more are included in this very popular course.
Includes all meals and accommodation on board.
ALL THREE WEEKENDS MUST BE COMPLETED TO ACHIEVE CERTIFICATION AND WITHIN A 12-MONTH PERIOD.
This courses can be taken either as a 5 days immersive live-aboard experience or, a combination of two and three day weekends.
