This immersive 5-day practical course draws from the compulsory prior theory courses, either RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship or RYA Day Skipper Theory and covers all of the practical elements needed to skipper a sailing yacht in sheltered waters during daylight hours.
Berthing, crew management, victualing, person recovery, chart plotting, knots, helming, sail trimming and much more are included in this very popular course.
Other benefits from completing the RYA Day Skipper include eligibility to apply for the International Certificate of Competence (ICC) which allows bareboat chartering in Europe along with potential better insurance policies.
Includes all meals and accommodation on board.
