RYA Yachtmaster Theory 'Fast track' - Online

This is the course for students seeking to fast track their advanced theory knowledge and gain more in depth knowledge of coastal navigation.

It is aimed towards students who are seeking the advanced theory prerequisite for their RYA Coastal Skipper practical or Yachtmaster exams and have either completed their RYA Day Skipper theory sometime ago and are feeling a bit rusty, or have not completed RYA Day Skipper theory but have prior knowledge such as the RYA Essential Navigation and Seamanship theory, regular crewing experience and/or periods of time on the water as a skipper.  The online course offers a brief review of the RYA Day Skipper Theory course material enabling students to refresh their navigation knowledge; then continues with the full RYA Coastal Skipper & Yachtmaster Offshore online theory course.  Online access is available for six months.

Upon successful completion, students receive the RYA Coastal Skipper & Yachtmaster Offshore shore-based course certificate (RYA Day Skipper Theory certification is not included).

This is an intensive theory course and basic mathematical calculations are necessary.
